OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Scrum Master to join our Infrastructure team. The Scrum Master will play a crucial role in facilitating and guiding our agile development processes, ensuring that our team is empowered to deliver high-quality products on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of agile methodologies, excellent communication skills, and a passion for driving continuous improvement.
You will be working in a dynamic, client-facing environment where your contributions will play a pivotal role in reshaping industry standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Facilitating all agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Coach and mentor team members on agile principles and best practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
Remove impediments and obstacles that hinder the team's progress, working closely with stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure smooth delivery.
Collaborate with product owners to prioritize and groom the product backlog, ensuring that it is well-defined and ready for sprint planning.
Track and report on team progress, providing visibility into sprint and release metrics to stakeholders and leadership.
Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, encouraging open communication, transparency, and trust among team members.
Sharing knowledge and best practices with other teams and stakeholders.
REQUIREMENTS:
At least 3+ years of experience in a Scrum Master role
Should hold recognised Scrum Master Certifications such as PSM1, CSM, SASM
Demonstrate deep knowledge of agile delivery frameworks and methods.
A solid understanding of banking products and processes would be a plus
Profound knowledge of the Scrum ceremonies and experience in tools such as GitLab, Jira, Confluence
Hands-on technical and development experience will be considered a plus
Superior leadership and team-building skills
Excellent communication skills, fluent English (at least B2+/C1);
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical/development teams and business stakeholders
