REQUIREMENTS:
Proven experience as a Defect Manager or similar role in the automotive industry;
In-depth understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean) and defect management tools (JIRA, Rally);
Strong analytical and communication skills for efficient defect prioritization and resolution;
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams;
Desirable: Knowledge of automotive industry standards, Agile certifications (e.g. Certified Scrum Master), and problem-solving mindset.
RESPONSIBILITES:
Implement and maintain defect management processes aligned with Agile principles and practices;
Collaborate with Agile teams to ensure timely identification and logging of defects during all phases of software development;
Prioritize defects based on severity, impact, and customer requirements to minimize disruptions to project timelines;
Facilitate defect review meetings and coordinate with stakeholders to analyze root causes and propose corrective actions;
Monitor defect resolution progress, update stakeholders regularly, and escalate critical issues as necessary;
Continuously improve defect management processes by implementing best practices and lessons learned from previous projects;
Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to enhance test coverage and minimize the occurrence of defects;
Develop and maintain documentation related to defect management processes, including defect reports, metrics, and trends.
