PROJECT:

We started a project which allows to build a specific layer in the data architecture capable of receiving multi source data, where all relevant industrial data is accessible together. We rely on the Aveva PI system to collect, store, and manage time stamped data. It is a central MES server located in the cloud, connecting to each site’s MES (PI or Aspen IP21), aggregating data and structure. We are looking for two consultants to design, deploy and support this solution during the separation project phase in order then to ensure the support of the application in 2025.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A minimum of 3 year of experience in a similar environment (PI / IP21).

  • Having a good expertise of Aveva PI and AspenTech IP21 historians (at least one of them).

  • Aspen MES and Aveva (OSIsoft) PI System Master or knowledge in interface config of Aspen MES and/or PI.

  • Software Engineering methods and tools.

  • Industrial and scientific software engineering Pi2Pi, Pi RDBMS, PI SDK, PI DA, AF, EF.

  • Knowledge of: TCP/IP Microsoft Windows Servers (64-bit), Windows 10 (64-bit) Microsoft Active Directory (basic knowledge) Microsoft Excel, VBA scripting Microsoft SQL Server.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Be aware of the overall ecosystem around Aveva PI system in the Cloud.

  • Be part of the project committee for new use cases / sites implementation.

  • Collect user cases; create new templates.

  • Design and configure data models, libraries.

  • Document, test and deploy the solutions.

  • Participate in major incidents management.

  • Provide support for the application when required.

  • Organize and plan training when required (can be combined with quarterly training performed internally by MES Coaches).
