Your Contribution: As a Senior EHS Expert within the Support & Maintenance team, you will focus on various HSE applications, including SAP EHS, Occupational Safety (Gensuite), and Occupational Health and Product Safety applications.
Your role will involve designing and implementing necessary evolutions and improvements to ensure business continuity. This includes writing functional specifications for developers, testing, validating, and documenting customizations and development changes. Additionally, you will collaborate closely within the our IT organization, product managers, and HSE experts to analyze business and functional requirements and propose solutions for EHS processes. You may also participate as a project member or Project Manager in the implementation of project solutions across all project phases, including Design, Execution, Tests, Deployment, Training, and Hypercare support.
Responsibilities will further entail preparing and leading design workshop discussions with users, as well as collaborating with end users or other IT members. To excel in this position, you must possess strong technical skills within EHS applications as well as basic functional knowledge of applicable regulations within the chemical industry. Your expertise should encompass key areas such as Product Safety, SDS Authoring and distribution, Expert Rules, Dangerous Goods Management, SVHC, SVT (Substance Volume & Tracking), PCN (Poison Control Notification), a Occupational Health.
Key Responsibilities:
● Manage and enhance various EHS applications, ensuring optimal performance and compliance.
● Apply technical expertise to manage, improve, and support existing software applications to ensure business continuity. ● Write functional specifications for developer.
● Test, validate, and document customizations and development changes.
● Collaborate with product managers and HSE experts to analyze business and functional requirements and propose solutions for EHS processes.
● Participate as a project member or Project Manager for the development of new software applications.
● Prepare and lead design workshop discussions with users.
● Collaborate with end users or other IT members.
Must-Have Skills:
● Deep hands-on experience with SAP EHS in areas such as Product Safety, SVT, SVHC, IUCLIDE, CHESAR, Qsar.
● Expertise in SAP EHS Expert Rules setup, modification, and configurat.
● Understanding of SAP BW report structure and basic knowledge of SAP BW reports and interfacing.
● General SAP EHS customization experience.
● Experience in EHS Occupational Safety applications (i.e., Gensuite).
● Experience in EHS Product Safety and Occupational Health applications (i.e., Medexis OH, Kitry, Medcare..)
● Understanding of development codification and interface.
● Management of SaaS packages related to EHS. Valuable.
Additional Skills:
● Knowledge in transversal business capabilities (e.g., Process Safety, Occupational Safety, Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene).
● Familiarity with Global Label Management (GLM) and S/4 Product Compliance.
● Experience with interfacing, IDocs, and ALE.
● Proficiency in English; additional languages are appreciate.
