PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a testing specialist to help improve the quality of testing for our portfolio of standard applications. The project focuses on failure scenarios and fail-over mechanisms rather than traditional functional testing. The goal is to ensure that applications fully recover after a failure, including their integrations and data.
The tests will be conducted as part of internal fail-over testing scheduled for the autumn. Due to the large number of applications (over 1,500), an in-depth understanding of each individual application is not required, but a general knowledge of systems and their interdependencies is necessary. The detailed scope of testing will be defined in collaboration with other specialists.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work closely with project team and organization to re-think and re-design test approach for all standard applications.
Develop test methodology and be able to test applications in failover scenario.
Be involved in test automation.
REQUIREMENTS:.
Adept at analysing test processes and approaches without necessity to go into detail.
Experience with test in larger organizations perhaps with both decentral platforms (Windows/Linux) as well as central (Mainframe).
Experience from the financial sector.
Experience with automation with regards to test. To be able to automate or design automation of repetitive test tasks.
It is a bonus to have experience with testing and test automation on a level below application, (Platform, infrastructure, etc.).
