IAM Operations Manager
About the Project
We are currently seeking an experienced IAM Operations Manager to lead and shape a high-performing Identity and Access Management (IAM) operations function within the Cloud & Corporate Infrastructure of a global enterprise.
You’ll play a critical role in transitioning key IAM services (PKI, DNS, AD) from external vendors to an internal operations team. This position will be central to delivering a secure, scalable, and globally consistent IAM service.
Though the role is remote-first, you should be available for occasional in-person workshops or meetings in Warsaw or Germany.
Key Responsibilities
Establish and lead the IAM Operations team under Core Identity Services.
Design and implement IAM operational processes, best practices, and documentation.
Drive the insourcing initiative and contribute to the IAM roadmap alongside the Product Owner.
Oversee and optimize day-to-day IAM services (PKI, DNS, AD) with focus on SLA/KPI compliance and performance.
Manage incident resolution, root cause analysis, and preventative actions for IAM services.
Leverage ServiceNow data insights to enhance service quality and team efficiency.
Ensure compliance with IAM policies, standards, and regulatory frameworks.
Recruit, mentor, and develop IAM Operations Engineers, in coordination with HR.
Collaborate across departments (Security, Network, Global IT) to ensure cohesive service delivery.
Introduce and refine automation, tools, and processes to improve scalability and security.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field—or equivalent work experience.
5+ years in IAM or infrastructure operations within a complex enterprise environment.
3+ years of leadership or management experience in IAM or IT operations roles.
Expertise in IAM technologies and concepts, including:
Identity lifecycle management
Access management / SSO / MFA
Privileged Access Management (PAM)
Hands-on familiarity with IAM platforms, directories, monitoring tools, and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow).
Knowledge of ITIL processes and ideally IAM-related certifications (e.g., CIAM, CISM, CISSP).
Strong interpersonal, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficient in English (B2 level)—written and spoken.
Experience in regulated industries (pharmaceutical, banking, etc.) is a plus.
